Vintage French Daum Vase, attributed to Pierre D'Avesn, c1930-40s

Irregular faceted honeycomb design (commonly referred to as "Nid d'abeilles"), under a thick wide rim. A beautiful and substantial vase, weighing 2.3kg

DIMENSIONS: H19cm, W20cm (rim)

CONDITION: Beautiful original condition, with some light surface scratches consistent with age.  Two very minor nibbles to base and rim (that you really need to run your finger over to find)

Every piece at Dimly Lit has had a life before this one, and it shows. Patina, light wear and the occasional small chip are part of the character, not a fault. Anything significant is always noted in the listing — beyond that, please expect the marks of age and use
